I will perform the story ‘The 3 Little Pigs & The Big Bad Wolf’ to a group of children and send you a picture. In my story, the children show the wolf ( a puppet) how to use his inhalers to blow the piggies’ house down. In the end, the piggies save the wolf’s life when he inhales smoke when he climbs down the chimney in the house of bricks. And then he doesn’t want to eat them any more! And they all lived happily ever after.

Can Captain Fearless slay the Wheeze Monsters using just her magic goggles and her inhalers? Find out how..

Hello my name is Heather Henry, founder of BreathChamps. I am nurse entrepreneur who’s had asthma all her life. I missed a lot of school as a child and I was often anxious and sometimes lacked confidence.

The aim of BreathChamps is to improve the life chances of children with asthma and help families feel more confident and in control.

Over the last 12 months I have been testing out fun ways to share asthma knowledge with children, families and communities using stories, songs, poems, puppetry and crafts.

In the UK, a child is admitted to hospital with asthma every 20 minutes

I’m raising money to run workshops to share all the tools I have developed with the help of local people. I want to increase the ‘herd knowledge’ of everybody, so we keep our children safe.
